Mike & Sherry Project

Working in the restaurant and bar industry can test your mental health. This has always been true, but the pandemic has made it even more of a crisis. Our good friends at Suerte and Red Fan Communications, along with other great local businesses, created the Mike & Sherry Project to provide mental health services for Austin’s restaurant and bar workers.

Named after Mike Shefman and Sherry Greenberg, staples in the local food scene, the Project is now also opening its resources to those who recently lost their jobs due to bar and dining room closures. We helped them create a visual identity to support their increased fundraising efforts. The Project is asking for donations to make counseling more accessible for members of the Austin bar and restaurant industry through Capital Area Counseling.
