Texas Wild: Streaming Now

We’re a brand development studio, not a recording studio. So how did we help create a new album featuring 11 iconic Texas songs reimagined by well-known and rising star Texas musicians?

We had a client in Texas Parks & Wildlife Foundation who gave us a challenge and was open to nontraditional ways to solve it. They wanted to connect with new audiences, spreading an appreciation for the diverse natural landscapes and wildlife of Texas. We thought a benefit album made a lot of sense. Music is a great connector, and Texas music is just as diverse as Texas nature — blending genres from cumbia to country, hip-hop to pop ballads, old-school blues to modern R&B.

The idea for Texas Wild was born, but it took assembling a great team of talented people to make happen — including Texas singer/songwriter Walker Lukens who produced the album, Mishka Westell who created the artwork for all the album covers, and of course all the gifted artists featured on the album:
